This Privacy Policy describes how FRNTCOURT LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the FRNTCOURT platform ("Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Who We Are

FRNTCOURT LLC operates the FRNTCOURT sports team management platform. We are the data controller for personal information collected through the Service.

We do not collect payment card numbers directly. If paid subscriptions are introduced, payments are processed by a PCI-compliant third-party processor and we receive only a transaction reference.

3. How We Use Your Data

Provide the Service — authenticate your account, display team schedules and rosters, enable RSVPs and announcements.
Email notifications — send RSVP reminders, weekly digests, and important team updates to addresses you have registered. You can opt out of non-essential emails via your account settings.
Security & abuse prevention — server logs and rate-limiting counters are used to detect and block unauthorized access attempts.
Platform improvement — aggregate, anonymized usage patterns may be used to improve features. Individual behavior is not profiled for marketing.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

Contract — processing necessary to provide the Service you signed up for.
Legitimate interests — security logging, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
Consent — optional email notifications (you may withdraw consent at any time).

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own marketing purposes.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

FRNTCOURT does not set tracking cookies or use advertising pixels. We store a single session token in your browser's localStorage to keep you logged in. This is a functional necessity and does not track you across other websites.

We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service that places cookies.

If you clear your browser's local storage, you will be logged out of the Service.

7. Data Retention

Active accounts: data is retained for as long as your account is active.
Deleted accounts: personal data is removed within 30 days of a deletion request.
Server access logs: retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then deleted.
Database backups: automated backups are retained for 7 days, then permanently deleted.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

Passwords hashed with scrypt (no plaintext passwords stored).
All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
Session tokens are cryptographically random 256-bit values.
Role-based access control prevents users from accessing other teams' data.
Rate limiting on login and API endpoints to prevent brute-force attacks.
Automated daily database backups with 7-day retention.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by coaches, parents, and players aged 13 and over. Rosters may include the names and statistics of players under 13; this data is entered and managed by team administrators (typically coaches or parents) and is not used by us for any purpose beyond delivering the Service. Parents or guardians who wish to review or delete data about a minor player should contact their team administrator or us directly.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — update inaccurate data via your account settings or by contacting us.
Deletion — delete your account yourself from Account → Delete My Account, or email us to request deletion. Self-serve deletion purges your profile, login, and sessions immediately; team-owned content (roster rows, messages you wrote) remains with the team and can be removed by the team admin on request.
Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
Objection / Restriction — object to or restrict certain types of processing.
Withdraw consent — opt out of email notifications at any time in account settings.

11. California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@frntcourt.com.

12. International Transfers

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
